Donna Marie Bentley, 70. Born January 9, 1949, Died December 2, 2019.
Donna is survived by her husband Virgil, Daughters, Melody Souders (Chad Souders); Melissa Weidmaier (Chris Weidmaier); LaVonne Cooper; Margie Richardson;14 grandchildren;10 great-grandchildren and siblings Linda Williams, Cathy Burnell (Steve Burnell), Becky Schnacke and Buddy Dennis.
She is preceded in death by her daughter Edith Lechliter.
Donna had a career in the home healthcare industry before retiring from Herff Jones.
Donna loved spending time with her family. She absolutely loved her all her grand kids. Time spent with her great grandchildren would always bring a smile to her face
Donna had two pastimes that she enjoyed above all else:
Once a year around Christmas time Donna and her sisters would have a Sister’s Weekend where they would travel out of town visiting the casino, gift exchange and enjoying each other’s company.
Donna also enjoyed sitting outside on her front porch by her garden visiting with all her friends.
In lieu of flowers a contribution of your choice can be made to your local animal shelter or the Cancer Society.

Carmen Villalpando (Romero) 74, passed away on November 25, 2019 at 9:03PM with family at bedside at Delmar Gardens of Overland Park after a valiant battle with Alzheimer’s Dementia. Carmen was born July 1, 1945 in Tepatitlan, Jalisco in Mexico, where she grew up with her six siblings. Carmen lived in Los Angeles with her family and moved to Kansas City, Kansas in 1970. Carmen earned her GED and clerical certificate all while married and raising a family. Carmen was a homemaker, clerical worker, job placement counselor (Economic Opportunity Foundation) and later ran a printing press at Corporate Express/Staples. Carmen enjoyed her family, music, and was an avid dancer. Carmen was a strong, hard-working woman with a sweet soul, loving personality, and funny sense of humor. Carmen had an amazing smile. She enjoyed dressing up, spending time with her family and friends, and dabbling in playing slot machines. Carmen was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. Carmen will be deeply missed and remembered by all.
Carmen was preceded in death by her father and her mother, Andres and Christina Romero, her daughter Augustina Villalpando, and her son David Villalpando. Carmen is survived by her sons and family: Juan F. Villalpando & family of Colorado, son Daniel Villalpando and wife: Gabriella, and son Roberto Villalpando of Kansas City, Kansas; eight grandchildren: Leslie Villalpando, Richard Mills, Travis McClanahan, Julian, Manuel, Alexandria, Savanna, and Gabriel Villalpando. Siblings; Beatriz Gomez (Jose) of Norwalk, California, Conception Gonzales (Brigido) and Francisco Romero (Amelia Barba) of Jalisco, Mexico, Teresa Escarcega (Rufino) of North Hills, California, and Mary Spooner (Richard) of Santa Clarita, California. Carmen also left many others including aunts, nieces, cousins, family, and many friends.
Funeral Arrangements are held by Kansas City Funeral Directors, 4880 Shawnee Drive, Kansas City, Kansas. Funeral Services will be on Friday, December 6th at All Saints Parish, 811 Vermont, Kansas City, Kansas 66101. Rosary with visitation from 09:30-11:00 AM, Mass at 11:00AM, procession to Mt Calvary for burial at 38 & State in Kansas City, Kansas. Luncheon to immediately follow. The family would like to thank all the staff at Delmar Gardens of Overland Park and the staff of Vitas Hospice for the care and support showed to Carmen and her family. With special appreciation to Kerry (RN) and Mary Lou (Social Worker) with Vitas Hospice for their exceptional care provided to Carmen and her family.
Guy D. Caster

On Friday, November 15th, Guy D. Caster passed away peacefully, yet unexpectedly, at his home at the age of 64.
Guy was born on October 8th, 1955 in Kansas City, Missouri, to Richard “Bud” and Patricia Caster. He graduated from Bonner Springs High School in 1973. He proudly joined the United States Air Force and served for four years stationed in Anchorage, Alaska. Guy spent many years working in concrete construction and was a very skilled equipment operator.
His passions were his hobbies. He spent many years working on drag racing crews for friends, owning his own dragster and a junior dragster. When he wasn’t racing, he loved to go hunting. He spent a lot of time out hunting with his beloved bird dogs. Many of his friendships were formed through these hobbies and he loved sharing those times with them.
Guy was hard working, kind, funny, loved to tell stories and wasn’t shy about sharing his opinions. He was a very loving, loyal friend to many.
He was preceded in death by his parents Richard “Bud” and Patricia Caster, and his grandparents Guy and Nancy Chamberlin. He is survived by his sister Cydney Caster-Riemer, step brother Steven B Caster, nieces: Pier Masterson, Caitlin Terry, Haleigh Solar and nephews: Steven Riemer Jr. and Eric Koop and many close friends who were like family.
Guy’s final resting place will be at Leavenworth National Cemetery. No services per his request.
Friends will be hosting an informal gathering as a celebration of Guy’s life on Sunday, December 15th from 12:00-2:00pm at the Grinter Hall, 1420 S. 78th Street, Kansas City, KS 66111.
Edward Everett Cole

Edward Everett Cole, Sr., passed away on Monday, November 25, 2019 in Shawnee, Kansas. A memorial service will be held at 3 PM on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at Jericho Missionary Baptist Church, 820 S. Woodbury St., Independence, MO.
Edward was born on January 17, 1933 to Robert & Cecilia Cole in Kansas City, MO. He graduated from Shawnee Mission North High School. Most of his life Edward worked in various grocery stores as a produce manager. But his love was building houses, even building his final home at 70 years of age. Edward was a loving father and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with family; gardening; taking vacations; & working on his cars. He took pride in his appearance and loved wearing his cowboy boots and hat.
Survivors include his children: Edward, Jr., Vicky, Cheryl, Fred, Tim, Mark Shawn (Tammy), & Michael; 8 grandsons; 16 great grandchildren; 9 great-great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, & friends.
Edward will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

Bree Ann Aguilar, 39, passed away on November 6th , 2019.
Celebration of Life event will be held on December 6th, 2019 at Pierson Park at 1800 S. 55th Street. Kansas city, KS 66062 5PM-11PM.
Bree was born in Kansas City , Kansas on October 20, 1980. She graduated in 1999 from Bishop Ward High School in KCK. She attended nursing school at Kansas City Kansas Community College and earned her Associates in Nursing.
Bree will be remembered as a compassionate mother, loving spouse, caring daughter, sweet sister, awesome aunt, and rockstar nurse. Bree always put others first. She was generous and kind. Bree never knew a stranger, she had so much love for everyone. She was an energetic, friendly, and a fun coworker . She loved her career in the emergency department at Providence Medical Center , where she worked for the past 12 years. Bree enjoyed crafting, playing softball, spending time with family and friends, singing, dancing, and spoiling children. She could never get enough QuikTrip cold iced tea. She loved good times filled with kids, candies, and fun . She will always be remembered as a fun-loving lighthearted sweetheart. She will be greatly missed!
Bree is survived by her spouse, Krysie Henson and daughters Tia, Kylah, and Mariah Parker. Parents Manuel and Donna Aguilar . Siblings Vera Stecher (John), Camille Kendrick (Raymond), Holly Jacobs (Justin), Tony Aguilar, April Rounds (Phillip) and Joshua Aguilar. Nine nieces and eight nephews, and one great niece/nephew on the way.

David P. Bruce

David P. Bruce, 71, of Overland Park, KS, passed away on November 8, 2019 after a nearly five year battle with Pleomorphic Cell Sarcoma. Dave graduated from Paseo High School in 1966. Following high school, he attended UMKC before joining the Marine Corps from 1970-1974. He returned to UMKC after returning from the Marines and graduated in 1976. He received his MS from Central Missouri State University in 1978. After graduating he worked as a substance abuse counselor before he found he really enjoyed working in industrial sales retiring from U.S. Industrial Lubricants in 2018.
Dave was married to his wife, Sue Bruce, for 36 years. He LOVED bowling. Dave and his wife loved hiking Grand Canyon, taking trips to Hawaii, biking, road trips, his Kentucky Derby party, their many pets, and going to Chiefs and Royals games. He always had a smile on his face when he gave football and baseball cards to the fans of opposing teams of both the Chiefs and the Royals.
Dave is preceded in death by his parents, John & Dorothy Bruce. In addition to his wife, he is survived by son, Jack Bruce (Columbia, MO), son Jason Bruce (Asheville, NC), and brother, John Bruce Jr. (Chagrin Falls, OH).
Dave has donated his body to Medical Science. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 pm, December 5, at Unity Temple on the Plaza, 707 W 47th St, Kansas City, MO 64112.
Dave was an avid life-long Chiefs fan and 45 year season ticket holder all through all the highs and the lows. Please wear a red or a Chiefs shirt for his memorial service.
